Captain L. A. (Dick) Whittington is depicted on the left above while serving in Holland in during WWII (?1944) where he subsequently met his
beautiful wife, Lt. Carmen M. McLean, a Canadian Army (RAMC) Nurse and they were married in East Grinstead, Holland (above right) on the 12 April 1945.
A honor guard was formed by C Pro C members of Capt Whittington's unit. Photos were submitted by Capt Whittington's son, Mr Ian Whittington. |
