WWII Members Of The Canadian Provost Corps In WWI Period Dresss |
|
|
Shown above are members of the WWII era Canadian
Provost Corps dressed in a mixture of WWI uniforms with Canadian
Provost Corps "King's" collar and hat badges. This is similar to the
uniform worn by the Canadian Military Police Corps (CMPC) after
WWI. I am informed by our resident militaria expert, retired CWO
George Elliott, that in the early stages of WWII such attire was not
uncommon. Click here to email the
WebMaster if you
recognize anyone in the above photo.
