 Photo of Provost contingent on parade in Ottawa - 1957. The formal inspection party consisting of: (l-r) Lt General HD Graham, Army HQ, Colonel / Commissioner LH Nicholson, RCMP, Supt JB Harris, (RCMP Parade Commander) Honourable Davie Fulton, Minister Of Justice, Maj Eric Hills, (C Pro C Parade Commander) and the Minister Of National Defence, Honourable (Maj General) George Pearkes, VC. shown inspecting the Provost Corps contingent on parade. Former member of the C Pro C, Vern Arndt recognized two of the members in the ranks; namely: 2nd from right, Pte Kendall and 3rd from the right is Sgt Winston Tourangeau. Vern stated that he accompanied the Provost contingent to Ottawa as a spare, but was not utilized on parade due to being too short, stipulating that most on parade were all six foot tall or more.
