In the above photo members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police of No.1 Provost Company (RCMP), are formed up on their motorcycles in front of their barracks (probably at Aldershot, England where they were initially billetted in 1939) ready for inspection by Superintendent W. R. Day, Company OC, who is accompanied by the Company Sergeant-Major, (RCMP Corporal) George W. Ball (both marching on the left side).
